Worm orders that arrive damaged or dead must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. A replacement shipment will be sent out at no charge to the customer. To receive a prompt refund from Worms.com 1-800 COMPOST, (with the exception of worms), items must be returned within 14 days of delivery, with shipping and insurance prepaid (sorry, no C.O.D's can be accepted). Unfortunately, the original shipping fees cannot be refunded. Before returning any item, you must first call Customer Service at 610-656-1000 for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Bottled solutions, accelerants, books, and test kits, may not returned. Used items are not returnable. All products (unless noted on our site) are sold with the full manufacturer's warranty. All items must be returned in the original packaging and with all warranty cards, manuals and accessories. Any discrepancies or damages could result in a delay or forfeiture of your credit / refund. All returned items are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Returns must be sent via any courier that issues tracking numbers and insurance. Call Customer Service at 610-656-1000 with this tracking number. Please allow 1-2 weeks for credit to appear on your account. Shipping either way is not refundable.
Our prices of worms reflect current market rates. We ship USPS Priority Mail and the worms USUALLY arrive within 2-3 days after shipment. All worm orders are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure live delivery by that Saturday. If your order is placed after 12 noon PST it will be shipped the following Monday unless there is a holiday that week which will delay shipping. Depending upon size and maturity, one pound of worms will contain approximately 900-1,100 worms. Orders placed on our site shopping cart will include shipping for worms up to 50 pounds. Please e-mail or call 1-800 COMPOST for shipping quotes on orders over 50 pounds. Orders shipped out of the country or during the hot summer months need special handling; call for prices and instructions. Shipping of all other products will be through the USPS, UPS, Fedex, DHL or other similiar carriers that provide tracking numbers. Tracking numbers will be emailed to the customer once the item has left the Worms.com 1-800 COMPOST warehouse.
